The Registered Dietitian provides nutritional services to in-center and home patients to improve clinical outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include conducting nutritional assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing ongoing education to patients and caregivers regarding kidney disease management.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian with at least one year of professional clinical nutrition experience and current state licensure. Previous experience in renal nutrition is preferred, along with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Provides nutritional services for the facility’s in-center and home patients as applicable in order to maximize the patient’s nutritional status and improve clinical outcomes. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, supporting the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) activities. Actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve their individualized patient-specific goals as determined by the patient’s physician.

The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Annual Rate: $74,000.00 - $124,000.00
