Perform 1G welding on railcar and non-railcar components while interpreting blueprints and shop mathematics. Manage warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and the operation of cranes and fork trucks.
Requires experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments with a preference for prior railcar experience. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, handle metals/alloys, and possess certification or experience with fork trucks and cranes.
Handle standard/non-standard railcar/non-railcar parts and components. Ship and receive material within a warehouse environment, in addition to the maintenance of inventory and quality functions. All functions must be completed with minimal supervision.

Work Experience:
This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals as well as the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as the ability to apply concepts and proportions to practical situations is required. This position also requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists as well as the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to weather, noise, and welding smoke.
