Supervise and monitor the construction of high-end residential buildings to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and statutory regulations. Coordinate with consultants and contractors while maintaining detailed site records and conducting safety inspections.
Requires a Diploma in Engineering and BCA registration as a Resident Technical Officer. A minimum of 5 years of site supervision experience in residential building construction is mandatory.
The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) will be stationed full-time on site to supervise and monitor the construction and redevelopment of high-end residential development comprising 2 Blocks of 19-Storey and 3 Blocks of 10-Storey residential building with 1 Basement carpark, swimming pool and communal facilities. The RTO will ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the project specifications, approved drawings, Building Control Act and Regulations, and relevant statutory requirements.
As part of the duties, RTO may be required to travel outside of Singapore to carry out inspections of Prefabricated Bathroom Unit (PBU) fabrication, Precast Elements fabrication and fit out works for the project. Such travel will be undertaken in coordination with the main contractor and only when the scope of work necessitates physical inspection. RTO is expected to be available and prepared for such assignments as part of their employment obligations.
