Design and implement core video player features for consumer-facing applications across Fox's networks. Lead the architecture and implementation of player features on iOS and tvOS while ensuring high playback performance and scalability.
Requires a BS/MS in Computer Science and expert proficiency in Swift and Objective C. Candidates must have experience building video playback components and leading mobile application teams in a tech environment.
Fox Platform Group seeks a Sr. Video Player Engineer, iOS to design and implement core video player features for consumer facing applications across all of Fox’s networks . FOX is responsible for delivering the largest LIVE events on TV - including the Super Bowl, MLB World Series, FIFA World Cup, Election Coverage, WWE Smackdown, NFL Divisional Championships, Primetime Emmy Awards and countless more. This role is essential to providing our digital audience a great experience every time they press play and will be key to developing industry leading playback performance. As a senior video player engineer, you will be working in an extremely fast paced environment where you’ll be expected to take ownership of building video playback solutions and provide deep technical expertise across the entire software delivery process.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-161,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
