The Senior Scientist will lead the development and application of computational pipelines to analyze multi-omics datasets for precision oncology drug discovery. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret complex biological data, support clinical development, and manage contract research organizations.
Candidates must hold a PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience. Proficiency in Python, R, and Bash, along with deep expertise in high-throughput sequencing and cloud computing, is required.
Role Summary:
Fore Bio is a next-generation precision oncology company focused on the development of plixorafenib, an investigational, novel, small-molecule, next-generation, orally available selective inhibitor of mutated BRAF.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist to join our growing research team. The successful candidate will lead the development and application of computational tools and pipelines to analyze large-scale biological datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and clinical data. This individual will play a key role in interpreting complex biological data to support drug discovery, biomarker identification, and clinical development. This role is focused on supporting biomarker discovery, patient stratification, and translational research. It is important for this individual to have knowledge in observational research, cancer biology and bioinformatics with strong statistical programming skillset, and experience managing complex analyses.

For this role the anticipated base pay range is: $130,000 - $160,000
