The Safety Coordinator supports field safety operations by conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with HSE management systems. They also facilitate safety meetings, manage documentation, and assist with incident investigations and training initiatives.
Candidates must have a post-secondary diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and at least three years of relevant safety experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valid certifications like First Aid/CPR and WHMIS 2015 are required.

The Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting field safety operations and the effective execution of Forbes Bros. Group's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System across assigned projects. Working closely with Operations, project leadership, and the HSE team, this position promotes a proactive safety culture through hazard identification, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and continuous engagement with field personnel.
The Safety Coordinator provides hands-on support through site orientations, field inspections, safety coaching, incident investigations, and documentation management while ensuring compliance with legislative, client, and company HSE requirements. This role requires strong field presence, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to fostering safe and productive work environments.
