Manages power generation operations and a team of personnel responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of generators. Ensures all work complies with contract requirements, safety standards, and budget constraints.
Requires 7-10 years of related experience, U.S. citizenship, and a Secret Security Clearance. A high school diploma is preferred, along with technical training in power generation equipment.

High school diploma / GED equivalent preferred. seven (7) years to ten (10) years related experience.
Requires the technical skills, job knowledge and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Completion of a structured training program in Power Generation equipment is preferred. Typical programs are provided by the U.S. military, major equipment manufacturers, and some technical schools.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a Secret Security Clearance
Provide preventive maintenance and repair services by establishing monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual schedules for all prime power, diesel, gas generators, and light carts.
Maintain meticulous generator maintenance logs and material for required preventive maintenance and to provide continuity between rotations of military personnel.
Service Automatic transfer panels semi-annually and repair as needed.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Journeyman certified by the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) preferred
Power Pro Technician Certification preferred
Prior military and/or contingency experience.
