You will be responsible for designing and developing product models using Tacton Configurator Studio and mapping them with SolidWorks design automation. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance to the team, review drawings and BOMs, and ensure the efficiency of design automation processes.
The role requires 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Tacton modelling and 8 to 12 years of experience in part modelling, assembly, and drawings using SolidWorks. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of machine design, design automation tools, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
As a Senior Product Configuration Engineer, you will be an individual contributor working with a team that supports design automation across Mining products, including Proposal and Pricing documents, as well as product optimisation.
