Requires at least 3 years of construction or project accounting experience with mandatory proficiency in Deltek ComputerEase. Candidates must have strong Excel skills and experience in the roadway, infrastructure, or specialty contracting industry.
First Star Safety is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Project Accountant to support the financial and administrative operations of our growing traffic safety and roadway services organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing project billing, contract administration, project financial tracking, and customer invoicing across multiple divisions including Pavement Marking, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), equipment rentals, and related roadway service operations.
This is a highly collaborative, in-office role that works closely with Operations, Estimating, Payroll, Billing, and Executive Leadership to ensure accurate project setup, billing compliance, revenue tracking, and contract execution throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has prior construction accounting experience, understands project-based billing environments, and is highly proficient in Deltek ComputerEase.
