Safely operate coating equipment and manage processes to manufacture high-quality photovoltaic solar modules. Perform operational preventative maintenance, monitor process data using SPC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing, warehousing, or military industrial experience. Candidates must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 58 pounds and wearing full-body PPE and respirators.

The Production Coater Technician I is an intermediate position responsible for the beginning of the manufacturing process inclusive of the “coating” application of the semiconductor. The core function is to safely operate specific equipment, manage material and processes to manufacture high-quality, photovoltaic solar modules at the required rate. Additionally, Technician I’s will be responsible for conducting operational preventative maintenance procedures, addressing intermediate-level alarms, performing basic quality control procedures, using simple hand tools and systems during floor operations, and conduct training on tasks where they have completed certification.
Estimated Salary Range:
$20.50/ hourly
