About the Role:
We are currently looking for an M&A Manager to drive the Ferrero Group’s inorganic growth agenda at a global level, from the company’s headquarters in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving Ferrero’s growth strategy through the M&A lifecycle - from identification to assessment and execution of acquisition opportunities, working hand-in-hand with the Global Head of M&A and a Senior M&A Manager.
The position requires strong interpersonal skills and analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The role offers excellent exposure to Ferrero’s C-suite and senior executives and attractive future career development opportunities within the Group.
Main Responsibilities:
As M&A Manager, you will contribute to the identification, screening and evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities, conducting strategic, commercial and financial analyses of potential targets.
You will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive due diligence processes, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to evaluate target companies, market dynamics, competitive positioning, growth prospects and potential synergies with the Ferrero Group.
In addition, you will build and review financial models, valuation analyses and investment cases to support decision-making.
Moreover, you will prepare presentations and recommendation materials for senior management and contribute to sign-to-close activities, as required. As part of the job, you will also be responsible for the overall project management, including fee negotiation, budget adherence and compliance with internal processes and procedures.
You will be expected to actively contribute to discussions around transaction structuring and the negotiation of transaction agreements.
About You:
You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related subject and have approximately 8–10 years of relevant professional experience gained in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Strategy Consulting, Corporate M&A, Private Equity or similar environments.
Prior experience in M&A transactions is essential while knowledge of the food industry could facilitate meeting this role’s objectives. You have fluency in English and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel and PowerPoint.
You possess strong financial and business acumen, can perform a company valuation, and have experience with financial modelling, investment analysis and business case development. You have a solid understanding of M&A processes and demonstrated experience supporting complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders.
You have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail and proven project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and work effectively across functions and geographies.
An entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are key to success in this role. A high level of self-motivation, accountability and initiative, combined with the ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders and interact confidently with senior management and company executives, will be pivotal to succeeding in this role.
You work with genuine passion, resilience, and commitment, thriving in demanding, fast-paced, and often unpredictable environments.
You are flexible, result-oriented and available to travel internationally up to 25% of the time on short notice.
If you are a highly motivated and committed professional who enjoys working in a challenging environment, this is the job for you.
