The Lead Design Engineer will lead the design, prototyping, and testing of disruptive gearbox prototypes and industrial automation solutions. This includes performing CAD modeling, procuring components, and collaborating with software and electrical teams to integrate new technologies into actuators.
Candidates must have a B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil) and 5-10 years of experience in an engineering environment. Proven innovation in custom machinery or gearbox design and proficiency with CAD and shop assembly tools are required.

We are looking for a curious, creative, and mission-driven Lead Design Engineer with a technical foundation who is naturally fascinated by the challenges and detail work in enabling industrial automation. This role requires a hands-on engineer able and willing to personally perform design tasks from CAD to prototype assembly to laboratory testing. This position will be instrumental in developing disruptive gearbox prototypes.
