The Client Support Specialist is responsible for managing recordkeeping, data collection, and appointment scheduling within a school-based health center. They must establish positive rapport with students, medical staff, and school personnel while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with children and adolescents are required.
Family Centers School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) are located in nine public schools in Stamford and Greenwich and operate much like a small doctor’s or therapist's office. The centers are open during regular school hours and select sites may also be open during school holidays and summer vacations. The clinics offer medical, mental health, health education, and dental services to adolescent students. Our goal is to keep your child healthy, happy, and in school by providing timely health care — without having to leave school.
We are currently seeking a friendly, service-oriented Client Support Specialist for one of our school-based health centers in Stamford, CT. Responsibilities include recordkeeping, collecting data, scheduling appointments, and establishing positive rapport with the students, nurse practitioner, social worker, dentist, and school staff while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
