Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner  - Part time

Location: On- Site Oquawka Illinois

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)  to join our team in Oquawka, Illinois. This is an on-site position requiring a healthcare professional committed to providing high-quality  care to our patient community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders.
• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid PA or NP license with certification in Psychiatry.
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Must be able to work on-site in Monmouth, IL 61462.
