The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the healthcare environment to deter criminal activity and identify safety hazards. They must respond to emergencies and enforce medical campus rules to maintain order and protect patients and staff.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and no specific education requirements. Required certifications include BCLS, de-escalation training, and Basic Training for Healthcare Security Officers within the first year of hire.
Security Officers protect and safeguard patients, staff, other persons, assets and facilities within Essentia Health.
Schedule: Casual/PRN/as-needed. Shifts are either 6am - 7pm or 5pm - 7am any day of the week. Minimum requirement - one shift per pay period (2 weeks).
The locations listed below must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
This position requires an active and valid Driver's License & must be at least 21-years of age.
