Job Summary: Support the department and maintenance team by performing basic, routine building maintenance tasks under direct supervision in a healthcare environment, assisting with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and light repairs. Builds foundational skills in safety, tools, and service excellence.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: - Provides basic facility maintenance support including inspections, preventive tasks, and assisting skilled trades in a healthcare environment. - Perform light repairs and preventive maintenance such as positive pressure checks and hood inspections on facility systems. - Assist skilled trades with larger repair and installation projects. - Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, checking sprinkler gauges and minor building components. - Complete work orders in system. - Report building issues promptly to supervisors. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas. - Support emergency response activities as directed. - Completes proper maintenance and documented in compliance with DNV standards - Completes all activities in compliance with codes and regulatory standards - All other mechanical duties as assigned.
