The Deckhand is responsible for performing manual labor and maintaining safety and hygiene while servicing vessels and tows. Duties include completing qualification workbooks, following captain's instructions, and reporting hazardous conditions.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED and be physically fit to lift 70 lbs. A valid Driver's License and TWIC card are required, along with the ability to swim and work in various weather conditions.

EMIS services vessels and tows and works with other crews in a team environment. Our crews do not live aboard the vessels, which allows you more time at home instead of being gone weeks at a time in other marine jobs.
