Deliver immersive and creative extra-curricular English programs for students aged 5 to 17. Lead specific Wednesday afternoon sessions for beginner and intermediate EFL students.
Candidates must be qualified EFL teachers available to work Wednesday afternoons. Availability for training in specific teaching methods prior to the start date is required.
The Jeannine Manuel Academy is looking for English as a Foreign Language qualified teachers for its Wednesday afternoon programs.
The Jeannine Manuel Academy is the outreach program of the Ecole jeannine Manuel and runs active immersive and creative extra-curricular English programs for students ages 5 to 17.
We are looking to add to our teaching staff for two of our Wednesday afternoon programs:
- Knock Knock Wednesday which is for beginner students ages 5 to 10
- Wednesday Academy which welcome EFL students ages 7 to 14.
These programs run for 3 hours every Wednesday afternoon during the school year starting September 16th 2026.
Candidates should be available for training to our specific methods before classes begin.
Pay is 50€/hour gross.
Classes do not run during the school holidays.
International understanding through a bilingual education
École Jeannine Manuel – Lille is a private, nonprofit, bilingual and international school welcoming students aged 3 to 18. Founded in 1992, its mission is to “promote international understanding through the bilingual (French-English) education of a multicultural community of students and the pursuit of pedagogical innovation.” With students representing over 70 nationalities, the school offers an enriched French curriculum in which half of all classes are taught in English by native-speaker teachers. In high school, students can choose between the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI – American section) and the International Baccalaureate (IBDP). Our Lille campus is located on 8.5 acres in the green suburb of Marcq-en-Barœul and includes a boarding house for 120 students, welcoming both French and international boarders from grades 6 to 12. With 5- or 7-day boarding options, our “home away from home” provides a warm, supportive, and enriching environment. Students at École Jeannine Manuel are encouraged to explore, question, and collaborate.
