The coordinator is responsible for identifying site hazards, analyzing risks, and informing workers about safe work methods and regulations. They also conduct investigations into site incidents and lead health and safety meetings to prevent occupational injuries.
Candidates must hold an SST coordinator accreditation for construction sites and the ASP construction safety course. Knowledge of Quebec's health and safety laws and proficiency in MS Office are required.
