The Registered Psychiatric Nurse will coordinate and deliver safe, comprehensive, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team. They are expected to work within their scope of practice while adhering to Eastern Health and Nursing and Midwifery Board standards.
Candidates must hold current AHPRA registration and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, trauma-informed care. Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing are considered desirable for this position.

About the role
Upton House is a 25 bed Adult Psychiatric Unit in Box Hill.
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will be a valued and collaborative member of a multidisciplinary health care team. We are looking for someone who would bring ideas, enthusiasm, passion and an ethos of patient-centred care to the team. As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Upton House, you’ll be accountable for coordinating and delivery safe and comprehensive patient-centred care.
You will work within your scope of practice and in alignment with the Eastern Health and Nursing and Midwifery Board Practice Standards.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
