Full job description

We are looking for a full-time, experienced Carpenter with expertise in both rough and finish carpentry to join our crew. This role is central to the quality of work we deliver. You will work across a variety of residential construction and renovation projects, bringing precision, craftsmanship, and a high standard of workmanship to everything you build, install, and repair.

The right person is skilled, reliable, and takes pride in doing things right. If you have a passion for the craft, an eye for detail, and want to be part of a team that values quality above all else, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Rough & Structural Carpentry

•     Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using a variety of materials including wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites

•     Assemble and fasten materials to construct frameworks, props, and structural components using hand tools, wood screws, nails, dowel pins, and adhesives

•     Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level, following all safety protocols

•     Study blueprints, sketches, and building plans to prepare project layouts and determine dimensions and required materials

•     Shape and cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, and power saws

Finish Carpentry & Installation

•     Fit and install window frames, door frames, door hardware, and interior and exterior trim using carpenter’s levels, plumb bobs, and laser levels

•     Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures using woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools

•     Inspect ceiling and floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, and woodwork to identify broken or damaged structures

•     Remove damaged or defective parts and sections of structures and repair or replace them accurately and efficiently

Site Standards & Safety

•     Follow all established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times

•     Maintain daily job site cleanliness, including removing trash, organizing materials, and sweeping

•     Move and position materials around the job site as assigned, working safely and efficiently

•     Represent Earthadelic’s standards for quality, professionalism, and attention to detail on every project

Collaboration & Communication

•     Work closely with project managers, crew leaders, and fellow tradespeople to coordinate work and meet project timelines

•     Communicate instructions clearly and assist in delegating tasks to support staff when needed

•     Contribute ideas, collaborate as a team player, and bring a positive attitude to every job site

Qualifications

•     4+ years of experience in construction installation and carpentry — both rough and finish work

•     Must be 18 years of age or older

•     Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation

•     Ability to drive a truck and trailer

•     Must have personal hand and power tools to perform most common construction tasks

•     Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans

•     Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work — no shortcuts

•     Ability to communicate instructions and delegate effectively to support staff

•     Creative, collaborative, and passionate about the craft — brings ideas and takes pride in the finished product

•     Brings a positive, team-first attitude and takes ownership of their work

Why Join Earthadelic?

•     Be part of a respected and growing company known for exceptional craftsmanship and high standards

•     Work alongside a skilled, hard-working team that genuinely enjoys working together and takes pride in what they build

•     Join a company where quality is non-negotiable and your craft is valued

•     Competitive pay at $24.00 – $30.00 per hour based on experience

•     Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement within the company

•     Work on a diverse range of projects — from finish carpentry to structural work — that keeps the job interesting and your skills sharp

If you are an experienced carpenter who takes pride in quality work, brings energy and skill to every job site, and wants to be part of a team that does things the right way, we would love to hear from you.
