Job Responsibilities:
As an OSIsoft/AVEVA PI Engineer at Data Systems Analysts, you will be part of a growing business offering at the intersection of energy management, advanced analytics, and cybersecurity. As part of your work, you will actively translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs. You will participate in designing and implementing projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System. DSA's CIP team delivers value by integrating various systems onto a common operating platform and deploying advanced analytics to uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and resilience to support a customer mission. Within the CIP team, you will regularly work with and integrate data from building automation systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems into the PI System. You will leverage PI AF Analytics and reporting tools to support data analysis, validation, and identification of operational insights. Our group supports various industries, including universities, government agencies, utilities, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing facilities. As a system integration team, we are tasked with delivering value to the overall mission of our customer's organization. The majority of your time will be customer-facing and project-focused. We are looking for a motivated U.S. resident who is versatile and employable on both a functional and a technical level. Targeted training will be provided to support growth; however, candidates are expected to have a strong hands-on foundation in the PI System and be able to contribute independently within the first 1-3 months. The individual will support the development and implementation of new integration projects as well as ongoing support of existing systems. 60-70% customer-facing solution design and implementation, ~30-40% PI administration, troubleshooting, and operational support. The candidate must have a great interest in systems integration, be customer-oriented, have a hands-on mentality, and be eager to learn.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Similar
3+ years of work experience in a technical role with hands-on system implementation
2+ years of hands-on experience working with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System across AF modeling, data integration, and system configuration

Excellent verbal and written proficiency in the English language
Strong communication and analytical skills - Ability to pass background check
Desired Qualifications:
OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Accreditation
Hands-on experience delivering PI System integrations (strongly preferred)
Experience working with or integrating Building Automation Systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems into the PI System
General understanding of Central Plant Systems, Facility Management, and Energy Management
