Manage day-to-day operations of a scattered-site residential portfolio, serving as the primary contact for residents and coordinating maintenance. Responsible for maximizing occupancy through leasing activities and ensuring compliance with Chicago housing codes and regulatory requirements.
Requires 1-3 years of residential property management experience and a strong knowledge of Chicago landlord-tenant laws. Must possess a valid Illinois driver's license, reliable transportation, and proficiency in property management software like AppFolio.
The Property Manager is the front-line steward of Drexel Properties' residential portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned set of scattered-site multifamily buildings across Chicago and surrounding suburbs. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, coordinate maintenance, enforce leases, and support leasing activity — all while delivering the high-touch, investor-minded service that defines the Drexel brand.
This is a field-heavy role requiring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple properties across different neighborhoods simultaneously.
