The System Support Specialist will maintain and repair electronic and electromechanical systems across production facilities to ensure operational productivity. They will also provide technical support, training, and documentation while coordinating with vendors and staff to resolve complex technical issues.
Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in technology systems support, preferably within a production or printing environment. A technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechatronics fields is preferred, along with proficiency in troubleshooting network and hardware systems.
As part of the Dow Jones Print Business Operations Group, your mission will be to ensure exceptional service for our customers and create great experiences for our employees.
You will operate with minimal supervision, supporting the maintenance and operation of electronic and electromechanical systems that are crucial for producing our publications across multiple corporate locations. This position requires 35 hours per week, with workdays varying based on operational needs. Overtime may be required occasionally. You will also need to perform operational tasks as needed for coverage situations, ensuring a proactive approach to maintaining productivity and quality. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs change. You will be based in LaGrange, GA and report to the Technology Services Manager.
