The Leasing Consultant provides customer service to prospective residents through tours and communications while managing lease paperwork and rent collection. They are also responsible for maintaining the appearance of model apartments and supporting resident retention efforts.
Candidates must be able to comply with Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunity requirements as well as state landlord/tenant statutes. The role requires the ability to track prospective tenants and handle resident concerns efficiently.
Description
Provide customer service to prospective residents, including property tours, telephone inquiries, online marketing and communications, and performing move-in
Comply with all Fair Housing & Equal Housing Opportunity requirements
Comply with all appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
Ensure that residents complete lease agreement paperwork completely and timely
Track and follow-up with prospective tenants utilizing traffic logs and guest cards
Ensure the timely collection of rents
Ensure that vacant, model and target apartments are spotless appliances and fixtures are in working conditions
Support with resident retention by assisting resident activities, following up with service requests within 24 hours of their completion, and handling resident concern.
