Provide overnight support and crisis intervention for survivors in safe housing while maintaining shelter cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include performing building walk-throughs, documenting interactions, and assisting clients with basic needs.
A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is accepted. Candidates must possess strong computer skills and a deep sensitivity toward domestic violence and social justice issues.

Our advocacy programs embrace the philosophy that people experiencing violence and/or abuse have the potential to control their lives and can be helped in doing so through support, information, and encouragement. We believe that our organization should model behavior that is nonviolent and uses power responsibly for personal and organizational action and growth.
HOURS: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10:30pm to 8:30am (30 hours/week)
The Overnight Support Advocate will provide after-hours support for all safe housing residents. They play a crucial role in providing after-hours support and care to clients. This position is responsible for maintaining the emergency shelter, assisting clients with accessing basic needs, and promoting wellness and safety within the emergency shelter. The ideal candidate is compassionate, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently, and is incredibly reliable.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, is preferred, although other majors in a related field accepted, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Experience: None.
Licences/Certifications: Valid Oklahoma driver’s license; current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
