Responsible for the overall care, cleanliness, and custodial maintenance of the Desert Botanical Garden's facilities and public areas. Duties include routine cleaning, trash removal, and executing special projects like floor waxing and carpet cleaning.
Requires two years of custodial experience and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be knowledgeable in OSHA chemical regulations and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsible for the overall care and cleanliness of the facilities and public areas of the Desert Botanical Garden.
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: M-F 5:00pm - 1:00am
Pay: $20.00/hr
Requirements
In addition to typical office equipment, this role will use vacuums (handheld and backpack units), mops, brooms, extensions, dusters, sprayers, scrubbers, toiletry, cleaning chemicals, and safety gear.
Frequent communication with Garden employees and volunteers. Some communication with visitors.
Limited
Moderate physical effort beyond what’s typically required in a normal office environment. Potential for tight deadlines or time periods of high workload may require additional hours. The noise level in the work environment can vary. This role may occasionally require outside work in extreme heat, cold and rain.
This role requires the ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, see, hear, speak, and type. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds and climb ladders required.
