  • Strengthen accounting operations, internal controls and financial governance.
  • Partner on budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting and cash management.
  • Lead external audits, regulatory compliance and financial risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems, reporting processes and ERP initiatives.
  • Coach and develop the Accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor by partnering with leaders on grants, payroll, commissions, investments and strategic initiatives.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and management reporting.
  • 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Experience with ERP and accounting systems; Microsoft Great Plains experience is helpful.

Experience working within nonprofit, membership-based or similarly complex organizations is preferred.

Why join the Chamber?

When you join the Chamber, you'll become part of a collaborative team that believes in creating meaningful impact for Colorado's business community.

You'll have the opportunity to influence organizational strategy, improve financial operations and partner with leaders across the Chamber to help shape the future of an organization dedicated to strengthening Colorado's economy.
