The Parts Hanger is responsible for hanging and unloading parts on an overhead conveyor and performing quality testing. Additional duties include maintaining wash systems, managing paperwork, and supporting environmental policies to reduce waste.
Requirements
Candidates should ideally have over one year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, and uncontrolled temperatures.

Position Summary:
The Parts Hanger will handle, hang and unload parts on overhead conveyor moving at approximate speeds of up to 8 to 10 feet per minute.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
Accountabilities:
Operate a hand truck.
Perform necessary testing to assure quality of parts in an environmentally safe state and maintain records.
Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste and acting on environmental performance results and findings.
Clean and change nozzles within the wash system.
Dump/refill wash stages as needed.
Fill out proper paperwork for quality standards.
Qualifications:
1+ year of manufacuring or assembly experience preferred.
Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to Dee Zee customers.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Must be able to operate hand truck.
Must demonstrate computer literacy.
Ability to inspect parts for company quality standards.
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and control plan.
Ability to set up line with proper hook configurations.
Ability to stand at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time.
