The Patient Care Technician provides direct, hands-on dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team.
Candidates must possess an accredited high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. The role requires physical stamina for long shifts and the ability to work with blood, needles, and medical equipment.
