The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct care, supervision, and crisis management to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They also assist in implementing behavior management plans and documenting daily activities to support client development.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Indiana driver's license. Applicants must also pass a background screening and be free of disqualifying criminal convictions.

A Direct Support Technician performs a variety of tasks related to the care of clients served by Damar.
Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential.
For this particular role, you could work on our Children's Residential campus located at 6067 Decatur Boulevard in Indianapolis or in one of our Adult Group Homes in the community.
