The Shift Supervisor manages Chemist Operators to manufacture APIs according to batch records and cGMP guidelines. They are also responsible for safety enforcement, facility auditing, and coordinating shift hand-offs.
Candidates must have 5-10 years of manufacturing experience and a strong knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures. Good leadership and communication skills are essential for directing staff and coordinating with management.
Production Shift Supervisor in Rensselaer, NY - 12 Hour Nights
Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The Shift Supervisor is a member of the Production Department of Curia - Rensselaer. It is the responsibility of Production to produce product in accordance with cGMP manufacturing procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and directs the Chemist Operators daily activities which include, but are not limited to the following: production activities, general housekeeping activities, and other production related activities.

Pay Range: $71,000 - $88,400
