Position:

The Laborer plays a vital role in supporting daily construction operations and ensuring job sites are safe, clean, and efficient. This position assists with general labor duties, light carpentry, and site preparation while representing Cullen Construction with professionalism on every project.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and is eager to build their career in construction while working as part of a supportive, hands-on team.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain job site protection and safety measures.
2. Perform regular job site cleaning, debris removal, and organization.
3. Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
4. Assist with material handling, including stacking, moving, and staging supplies.
5. Perform light carpentry and construction tasks as directed.
6. Support supervisors and craftsmen with daily project needs.
7. Climb ladders, scaffolding, and access elevated work areas as required.
8. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
9. Represent Cullen Construction in a professional manner on all job sites.
   

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
2. Professional demeanor with a commitment to representing the company positively.
3. Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
4. Familiarity with construction processes and materials preferred.
5. Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong work ethic.
6. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
7. Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction and building industry.
   

Experience Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Previous labor or construction experience preferred.
3. Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles.
4. Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and perform manual labor tasks.
5. Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
   
6. OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required. Training available!
