Lead daily production operations in the Metals/Metal Finishing Department to ensure high-quality products and on-time delivery. Supervise shift staff, troubleshoot equipment issues, and enforce safety and environmental regulations.
Requires a high school diploma and 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Candidates must have strong leadership skills and proficiency with production management software and measurement tools.
About the Role: The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations within the Metals/Metal Finishing Department to ensure high-quality finished products, on-time delivery, productivity, and safe, compliant work practices. This role oversees shift operations, coordinates team members and resources, troubleshoots production and equipment issues, and works closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to improve workflow and reduce downtime. The Production Supervisor will lead, train, and develop production employees while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance production goals, quality requirements, safety compliance, and employee development. This position requires strong communication skills to set clear expectations and coordinate across departments; analytical skills to monitor production performance and identify improvement opportunities; and sound judgment to resolve operational issues quickly. The Production Supervisor should be dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while maintaining accountability for shift performance, facility security, and team success.
This is a Production Supervisor position supporting 2nd shift operations. The supervisor will play a key role in ensuring production targets are met, quality expectations are achieved, safety and environmental standards are followed, and the facility is properly secured at the end of the shift.
