The Senior Design Manager will manage design delivery partners for the Severn Trent Water AMP8 Framework. They are responsible for driving quality design and delivery while reporting to the Head of Engineering.
Candidates must have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or EICA engineering and experience in the water sector. Required certifications include SMSTS, CSCS, and a driving licence, with knowledge of NEC4 contracts and BIM standards.
Costain have won extensive work across the water sector to support the AMP 8 investment cycle. We have been appointed by Severn Trent Water to help shape and deliver its AMP8 framework. We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join the Framework team and drive quality design and delivery.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for the management of the design delivery partners working for Costain on the AMP8 Framework. Adopting a hybrid working model you will split your time between regional offices at Netheridge, Rugby and Finham and home as required.
You will have experience working within the water sector, in either Mechanical, Electrical ICA or Civils disciplines in design, or capital delivery roles. You should be a motivated team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver production thinking carbon efficient design solutions.
You should also demonstrate a thorough understanding of design delivery, design procurement, design management, design control, quality assurance, BIM to ISO 19650 and have a working knowledge of the NEC4 suite of contracts.
