The Licensed Vocational Nurse assists in the delivery of inmate care through assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment programs under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing medical procedures, documenting care, and triaging healthcare requests within a correctional facility.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited LPN/LVN program and hold a current state licensure. Additionally, they must possess current CPR/BLS certification and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test (as applicable).
