Role Purpose
Primary role is order processing for Specialty Fiber used in the sale of Specialty Optical fiber.
Will oversee inventory levels, scheduling of ware, shipping, customer returns, and ensuring product meets specifications.
Order Management and shipment planning.
Interfacing with Customer Service Reps to fulfill customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment planning of standard Specialty Fiber Products
Monitor inventory levels, feedback to manufacturing if priorities change
Primary interface with Commercial Customer Service Rep, managing POs, shipment against schedule, customer issues/sales or customer service representative issues.
Provide specific product information through interface with Customer Service Reps and/or Applications Engineer.
Interface with Optical Fiber processing resources in production of fiber
Work cooperatively across multiple functions and process areas
Experiences/Education - Required
Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience with strong math/science aptitude.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and disciplined, accurate work habits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems.
Experiences/Education - Desired
Experience in manufacturing, production operations, or scheduling.
Ability to manage multiple priorities across several process steps simultaneously.
Familiarity with continuous improvement or Performance Excellence tools.
Knowledge of optical fiber products, processes, or related manufacturing environments.

The range for this position is $58,411.00 - $80,316.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
