The specialist provides direct support to students in Summer Learning Labs through academic transitions and afternoon enrichment activities. They are responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive environment and supervising students during community-based activities and field trips.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and the ability to pass criminal and child protective background checks. CPR and First Aid certifications are required, while a degree in education or social work is preferred.

Students receive academic instruction in the mornings and participate in hands-on enrichment experiences in the afternoons, including creative activities, recreation, and field trips.
This role is about more than supervision. It focuses on building relationships, sparking curiosity, and creating meaningful summer experiences that help students thrive.
The Youth Enrichment Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where students feel supported, motivated, and connected.
