Responsible for analyzing and controlling materials and processes in the development and pilot production of high-quality ceramics. This includes sample preparation, testing, and performing preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
Requires a high school diploma with 3 years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience. Candidates should possess intermediate math and writing skills and the ability to work with hazardous chemicals.

Runs and cleans production equipment, primarily milling and spray drying systems, as the main powder producer for the line. Loads powders, cleans slip messes, and scrubs spray dryer walls. Tears down equipment between each run, this makes up roughly 80% of the job. Lifts and moves 50+ lbs regularly, including buckets of ceramic media and heavy material. Works independently under limited supervision, applying approved work instructions to production and equipment maintenance. Cross-trains across equipment and processes to build full working knowledge of the production line. Overlaps with the other shift technician for about 1 to 1.5 hours to support handoff. Complies with safety and quality standards, including required PPE (respirator, and occasional face shield and gown).
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years related work experience, or Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related work experience.
