Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Sr Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will administer the daily operations of a specific service shop within the organization.Daily, you will provide critical repair, incoming inspection, calibration, and maintenance services for a wide range of medical treatment and diagnostic equipment. Your expertise will ensure the optimal functionality and safety of vital patient care technology.Success in this role requires a high level of technical proficiency, strong organizational skills to manage shop operations, and a meticulous approach to maintaining complex biomedical equipment.
Backfills CE Lead as needed
Conducts preventative maintenance, safety tests, and calibration
Repairs equipment and prioritizes workload with minimal supervision
Manages work order records and resolves customer service issues
Orders parts and supplies for equipment servicing
Cross-trains technicians and collaborates with colleagues

Associates Other in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certifications or equivalent experience, upon hire

A valid Driver's License
Preferred
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician, upon hire
This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours and may be required to return to the facility on short notice.
