Job Summary for Security Guard
The Security Guard oversees site security operations to protect employees, customers, assets, and facilities while supporting a safe and controlled environment during auction operations. This role manages security coverage, policies, and incident response protocols across auction property, including vehicle lots, buildings, and sale-day operations.

Work Hours for Security Guard
Weekend Shift:
Saturday/Sunday/Monday 6:45AM - 7:00PM
OR
Second Shift:
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 2:30PM-10:00PM
Wednesday 2:00PM - 10:15PM
Responsibilities for Security Guard
Monitor facility access and ensure secure entry and exit for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
Patrol the property to help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security concerns.
Investigate and document security incidents and assist with implementing corrective actions.
Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and security partners when needed.
Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
Support auction sale-day operations by assisting with crowd management, traffic flow, and overall site security.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements for Security Guard
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Good driving record.
Able to pass pre-employment screening.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military, or related security experience is required.
Physical Requirements for Security Guard
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods across lots and facilities.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to respond quickly to incidents and navigate active operational areas safely.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds (cones, barriers, signage, equipment).
