Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. With an extensive footprint of over 1,800 retail outlets nationally, we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations, and we work together with our business units on all thing’s property, from site acquisition through to asset management.
About the role
Reporting to the State Construction Manager - WA, SA & NT, this is a diverse role where you'll be instrumental in the delivery of Renewal and New Store Projects throughout SA & NT.
You’ll be empowered to manage the entire project lifecycle across planning, governance, procurement, cost management, on-site delivery and safety. This role provides excellent exposure within the SA market and will see you utilise your influencing and project leadership skills to drive outcomes that matter to our business and our customers.

• Lead and coordinate diverse teams to deliver projects safely in a live trading environment • Effectively communicate and influence stakeholders to balance individual requirements and project specific outcomes • Monitor progress against the critical path to deliver projects within approved timelines and budgets • Manage, communicate and effectively mitigate risk • Balance time and resource commitments simultaneously across multiple projects • Oversee cost plans, design documentation and tendering whilst implementing continuous improvement initiatives across these disciplines.
About you and your skills
Key to your success in this role is having excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to consult and collaborate with teams internally and externally, to achieve optimal outcomes. Given this role is quite autonomous, it is important you are able to self-regulate priorities and time management.
Ideally degree qualified in construction project management, you'll have demonstrated experience working on medium & large-scale retail or commercial projects and come from an on-site/ retailer/ project management background.
You'll also have
• Extensive experience managing contractors, consultants, site supervisors and suppliers • Sound financial acumen and cost management skills • Working knowledge of local regulations along with an understanding of Australian Standards and their application • Experience in negotiating and executing contracts • Strong organisational and planning ability.
