The Product Engineer will lead cross-functional teams to investigate yield excursions and implement corrective actions to ensure robust process scalability. They will also support new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing readiness for next-generation optoelectronic chips.
Candidates must hold a Master's or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or material science with over 10 years of professional experience. Strong proficiency in statistical process control, device physics, and hands-on experience with optoelectronic device characterization is required.
The Product Engineer will lead cross‑functional teams to investigate yield excursions, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using industry‑standard engineering methodologies. You will own yield bridge activities, supporting both new product introduction (NPI) and the transition to high‑volume manufacturing, ensuring robust process scalability and sustained yield performance.
Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to perform complex data queries, statistical analyses, and commonality studies to drive effective troubleshooting and continuous yield improvement. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, data‑driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment focused on advanced photonics technology.
