Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and secure deployment of our software solutions. 

The job includes:

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Management and operation of Kubernetes (AKS) while ensuring availability and scalability.
• Development and maintenance of Helm Charts for Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Infrastructure deployment automation using Terraform.
• Working with Docker for application packaging and distribution.
• Implementation of security solutions and access management in Azure (RBAC, Azure Policies).
• Developing PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation and system administration.
• Integration and management of monitoring and logging systems (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaboration with development teams to improve CI/CD processes and optimize deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Develop and support tooling and automation for air-gapped environments.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and QA teams to optimize the software development and release lifecycle.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance development and deployment efficiency.
• Enhance and expand our cloud environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer – required.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments, including deployment, maintenance, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting – required.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies, particularly Jenkins and GitHub Actions – required.
• Deep expertise with Docker (build, run, debug) and Docker Compose orchestration – required.
• Experience working with databases and a solid understanding of database administration, performance, and troubleshooting – required.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive DevOps processes end-to-end – required.

• Experience in startup environments or fast-paced, dynamic organizations – significant advantage.
• Experience serving as the primary or sole DevOps function within an organization, with full ownership of infrastructure and DevOps operations – significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Conan, Debian, Maven, and other package management tools – preferred.
• Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Groovy, or Bash) – preferred.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and configuration management tools – preferred.
