The Registered Nurse (RN) provides a variety of nursing services to patients and families, applying standard nursing processes. The RN collaborates with healthcare team members and maintains patient confidentiality while adhering to facility policies.
Candidates must complete an accredited nursing education program and hold current registration in the applicable province. Additional qualifications include perioperative nursing certification or equivalent education and experience.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides a wide variety of nursing services to patients and families. The RN applies standard nursing processes, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, while also teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients and their families.
The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in accordance with the standards and scope of practice established by the applicable provincial nursing regulatory body, ORNAC standards and recommended practices, and facility policies and procedures. The RN possesses the education and clinical experience necessary to assess, treat, and educate patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures.
