The Certified Medical Assistant performs delegated clinical and administrative tasks to facilitate patient care. They work under the supervision of medical professionals to support a specific patient population.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with CPR certification. Two years of medical/surgical or oncology experience is preferred.

The successful candidate:
Schedule: 10 hours per day, 4 days per week. No weekends or holidays.
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs delegated patient care tasks for an assigned patient population. They will perform clinical tasks as well as administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Manager to facilitate the care of patients. The Certified Medical Assistant performs all responsibilities in accordance with all policy and procedure guidelines. The CMA provides care for all assigned patient populations. They will function under the direct supervision of the Medical Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant for patient care activities. Their assignments, evaluations, and reporting structure are overseen by the Clinic Manager/Supervisor.
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Certification/Licensure:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
CPR certified
Minimum of two years of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred
Previous office experience desirable
