The Site Director is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the implementation of high-quality enrichment activities at the assigned school site. They must also cultivate positive relationships with families, school district leaders, and staff while maintaining compliance with licensing standards.
Candidates must have at least one year of teaching and supervisory experience, along with an Associate or Bachelor's degree. Applicants must also pass state and national background checks and meet all Texas Department of Health and Human Services requirements.

Are you an energetic leader who loves working with children and building strong teams? The Child Development Center is hiring a full-time Site Director for our licensed After School CREW Program, which serves elementary students across 11 schools in Southwest Austin.
As Site Director, you’ll lead daily operations at your assigned site, manage assistant teachers, create engaging enrichment activities, and build positive relationships with students, families, and school partners. This is a great opportunity for an organized, hands-on leader who wants to make a meaningful impact in children’s lives.

About the Child Development Center: The CDC is a private, not-for-profit NAEYC and Texas Rising Star (4 Star) preschool located in Southwest Austin. The CDC has developed partnerships with AISD, including unique inclusion classrooms, after-school programs, and summer camps for school-age children.

Founded in 1994 as a community amenity for the residents of Circle C Ranch, The Child Development Center has grown to provide nationally recognized preschool programs to residents of the immediate community and families throughout Southwest Austin. Our main campus on La Crosse Avenue serves children as young as 2 months through age 5. With one of the lowest teacher turnover rates in the preschool industry, the CDC’s early childhood programs consistently provide families and children with an unparalleled level of individualized education. Through the years, The Child Development Center has developed partnerships with AISD including unique inclusion classrooms, after school programs and summer camps for school-age children. The Circle C Child Development Center is a private, not-for-profit company with a volunteer board of directors. It is independent of the Circle C Ranch Homeowners Association. The preschool and its programs are funded by tuition, fees and fundraising. Because of its unique history as part of the Circle C Ranch neighborhood, The Child Development Center is the only preschool of its kind.
