Design, test, and build backend software to deliver geospatial insights. Collaborate with data scientists to optimize and integrate their code for production deployment.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with over 4 years of professional software engineering experience in Python. Proficiency in OOP, functional programming, and experience with AWS and geospatial tools is highly desired.

The Geospatial Software Engineer (Backend) will report to the Engineer Manager and will work closely with the Data Science team.
Responsibilities
Design, test, and build the backend software which delivers Chloris Geospatial’s unique insights. Work closely with data scientists to optimize and integrate their code in order to bring it to production.

This is a full-time position. Location is flexible with a preference for locations allowing hybrid work in Boston, MA. Chloris is a hybrid-first company with a transatlantic team based throughout Western Europe and the United States, concentrated near our Boston headquarters.
