Job Overview

To prepare food for restaurant and catering events.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in production of butchery, hot and cold dishes, display platter and arrangements for buffet.
• Prepare food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet refill sufficient quantify during buffet serving time.
• Request food stuffs based on checking function sheets, event orders, daily menu and reservation.
• Supervise and participate in the production of a la cart and short order, obtain order announcement from Sous Chef and prepare accordingly.
• Keep working areas, cooking utensils, tools and machinery in good condition.
• Ensure that food prepare is in compliance with prescribed specifications.

Requirements

• Qualification or training in hospitality and culinary disciplines.
• 5 years’ culinary experience in Chinese, Asian or Western cuisine.
• Good team player.
• Able to understand simple English, Cantonese and Putonghua. 
• Physically fit, neat, tidy, and pleasant disposition.
• Good working and learning attitude.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Service oriented.
