Job Overview
To prepare food for restaurant and catering events.
Responsibilities
Supervise and participate in production of butchery, hot and cold dishes, display platter and arrangements for buffet.
Prepare food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet refill sufficient quantify during buffet serving time.
Request food stuffs based on checking function sheets, event orders, daily menu and reservation.
Supervise and participate in the production of a la cart and short order, obtain order announcement from Sous Chef and prepare accordingly.
Keep working areas, cooking utensils, tools and machinery in good condition.
Ensure that food prepare is in compliance with prescribed specifications.
Requirements
Qualification or training in hospitality and culinary disciplines.
5 years’ culinary experience in Chinese, Asian or Western cuisine.
Good team player.
Able to understand simple English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Physically fit, neat, tidy, and pleasant disposition.
Good working and learning attitude.
Able to work under pressure.
Service oriented.
