Perform vehicle health checks, servicing, and repairs using the latest technology in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Conduct road tests to ensure faults are rectified and complete all necessary technical paperwork.
Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification. A full valid driving licence and prior motor industry experience are required.

Vehicle Technician – Newtownabbey Kia
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:15–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4)
Salary: OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)
Charles Hurst are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our fantastic workshop in Newtownabbey . While working alongside other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs to the highest standards.
You will report to the accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed. We also offer excellent training and career progression opportunities, including manufacturer-accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to accelerate your career further.

The ideal candidate will have the following to be considered for this role: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non-brand), and a full and valid driving licence. You’ll be self-motivated whilst being able to support your team, ambitious and eager to learn, and are able to work to and maintain the highest of standards to all vehicles that take a spin through our doors.
